R3ECE Electro Acoustic

Traditional aesthetics meet 21st Century technology.

The R3ECE Rathbone Grand-Auditorium 'Double Top' features a technologically advanced sound-table made of two super-thin layers of Ebony with a Carbon Fibre lattice in-between.

This ‘Double-Top’ construction enables the sound-table to be a little thinner than a single solid piece of ebony but remain strong and ultra-responsive. The result is a super-resonant and voluminous guitar with bags of both character and all-out power.

The all-Ebony tonewoods of the R3ECE deliver a naturally bright and crisp tone with excellent attack and high-end sparkle.

The perfect all-rounder, the No.3 has the same scale length as the Orchestra Model but body dimensions closer to a classic dreadnought. The larger body cavity naturally produces greater bass tones, but without sacrificing clarity, and that's the beauty of the Grand-Auditorium. However, a larger body does not mean an unwieldy instrument. Far from it, in fact. The beautiful curves around the waist of the Rathbone No.3 ensure the guitar will sit comfortably on a knee or hang perfectly from your shoulders.

Fantastic shop. Took my record player to get fixed. You pay a base rate and then if it needs more work, you pay anything extra on top. I only paid the base rate as it was a quick fix and it was ready to pick up two days later. Fantastic service, great communication and very good price too. I will definitly use this service again. Thanks Paul!

Came across Ness Music while visiting Inverness, there is a great selection of guitars and gear. Paul was very helpful and friendly, got a set of studio headphones for a great price and they are excellent. Will be returning anytime I'm back in the Ness.

Popped into the shop to see Paul and wish him well in his new venture. We ended up having a chat about hifi separates and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you don’t need to break the bank to own one. I managed to pick up a new stylus for my turntable. Well worth the visit.
